Zebra Sheets As Home Decor

People rarely will use bedding as decorations in the home until they are inspired by a home improvement show on television, or they get a quick tip from a decorator. Using Zebra sheets as a piece of art hanging on that big wall in the living room or great room, if done properly will make a great bold statement that can blend with the earth tone type furniture, you currently have in place. Yes it will be the principle focus of the room, but as long as the rest of the design is muted it will work fine. Taking a queen or king size sheet and covering a wood frame that is about two thirds smaller than the bedding will work nicely.

As many home staging professionals will tell you, it does not have to be expensive to be tasteful. Sometimes less really is more, and for less than seventy-five dollars you can cover up that glaringly large blank space on your two-story living room wall. It doesn’t matter if you use zebra, giraffe, or even zephyr print bedding, but zebra tends to work best in these situations. Making artful wall hangings out of a sheet can be done a couple of ways, but the best is to just go to the local home improvement retailer. Get enough two-inch trim to create your square frame and use a heavy-duty staple gun to attach the fabric to the backside of the frame.

Zebra sheets can also be converted into fabric shower curtains from a king size flat-panel, with some simple and easy to install grommets, shower curtain rings, and one shower-curtain liner you can have that zebra or any other animal print in your bathroom quickly. Also cut and hem the fitted sheet to make eyelet curtains for your bathroom window as well. It just takes a little creativity and time to bring it all together.
